BackRoomExit offers players an immersive experience where they must navigate through darkened rooms filled with eerie shadows while avoiding obstacles like doors that are locked or hidden behind walls of yellow tiles and a maze-like layout to reach their goal. The game is designed around simple gameplay mechanics. Players can move freely in the Backrooms, but as you progress deeper into each room, certain areas become more challenging due to increased danger levels such as traps with glowing pits on them that players must avoid or outsmart by using items like a key ring and an umbrella shield against their attacks.

The games premise is simple yet engaging.
